We are a 501 (c) (3) organization.  We hold fundraisers throughout the year to support our service projects.

S.I. of La Quinta/Coachella Valley holds a Golf Tournament every year as our main fundraiser.  All the members are involved in the event.

Our great news in 2007.......
Skinner's Foundation to march $11,500
LPGA Tour veteran Val Skinner has announced her foundation will match the $11,500 in charitable funds raised during the annual 20th annual La Quinta/Coachella Valley Soroptimist "Holiday Golf Classic with Val Skinner". 

The matching funds brings the total raised at this year's tournament to $23,000.  It is the La Quinta Soroptimist's main annual fund raiser.  The group uses the funds for projects such as the House of Hope, a recovery home for chemically dependent women.

Val, a veteran on the LPGA Tour, has enjoyed a successful career having won six times & has captained the Solheim Cup. Val is, also, a Golf Analyst for the Golf Channel & CBS Sports. She is a professional athlete who exudes passion for not only competition, but also for her work off the golf course. On the golf course, her golf swing is one of power and pure natural talent.
